Bethany has been blessed with opportunities to help others. To serve is in our nature and we encourage you to join us in our mission. From Family Promise to greeting others on Sunday morning to singing in the choir...
below are ways to serve others:
Family Promise - Through this organization Bethany is able to open our doors to help assist homeless families. Twice a year we set-up a dorm style room where families can have dinner, socialize then spend the night under a roof for 1 week. Family Promise then picks the family up in the mornings to go to the Day Center so the children may be schooled and the parent can seek employment or look for housing. Learn more about Family Promise.
Homeward Bound - This organization helps single mothers and mothers fleeing domestic violence to have a safe place for themselves and their children. The goal is to help mothers become independent by securing employment and to find housing. Bethany is assigned a family whom we support throughout the year. Learn more about Homeward Bound.
East Mesa Men's Center also known as Turning Leaf - Each month a meal is planned by the congregation. Through food donations and assembling bag lunch's food is delivered to the homeless at the Center. If you would like to learn more.
If your interested in ministries of service to those in need, or in ministries within the worship service, please contact the Pastor.
