Baptism
Baptism along with Holy Communion is considered one of the two sacraments in the Lutheran church. Typically, we baptize infants, although adults who have not been baptized may also receive the sacrament. If you have a child or are an adult who desires to be baptized, contacting the pastor is the first step. The pastor will set up a time to meet with the parents and adult to discuss the sacrament of baptism and set a time at a Sunday Worship Service for the sacrament to be administered. Baptism is a faith community event and marks a beginning (or for an adult, a new beginning) of one's faith journey. |
