Membership at Bethany

Church membership isn’t about joining a club and paying dues. It is about seeking to draw closer to God through community and supporting that community with your gifts of time, talent, and offering as you are able.

Becoming a member of Bethany Lutheran Church is, first, a process of worshipping with us with some regularity. As you worship you will soon discover that you are welcomed and invited to participate in our ministry. Usually two or three times a year the pastor holds Prospective Member Gatherings. These gatherings are designed for persons interested in membership to learn about Lutheran belief and practice of ministry. Then, for those seeking membership, a Sunday is set aside whereupon new members are received.
