YULE MART'S REPORT FOR THE BAZAAR!
Yule Mart sends our sincere thanks to all of Bethany for your support. The bazaar would not have been the success it was without your help. We could not have done it without you! Whether you brought items to use or sell, donated items for our raffle, or gave of your time. Whatever you did it was greatly appreciated. You will all be happy to know that we made $3272.02 for the day making our total for the year $4977.52 and more keeps coming in. There is still time to shop! We will be packing up on Tuesday, December 10th and will get started meeting again January 7th, 2020.
Our thanks go to Bud Morrison who was out early putting up our signs by 7:30 AM; and also making sure the signs were down by 3:00. Santa came to visit us again this year and thrilled all of the youngsters as well as adults. Santa is Walter, the son of Ken & Evie Ries. Let's hope he returns again next year. A very special thanks to Karen Maglich, & Margaret Roach for their expertise and help with pricing. We would have had a lot of trouble doing it without them. Thanks to all of you who donated items for our raffle, came to help us set up on Friday and/or helped all day Saturday. Our thanks to Bud Morrison, Mary Anne Clark, Carla Roberts, Karen Maglich, Margaret Roach, Regis Gerald, Joe Kuehn, Don & Mary Steinnes, Jack & Vera Stieg, Joyce Borum, Diane Brunsfeld, Maggie Beard, Linda Casey, Ken Ries, and many others. The Beautiful quilt that was auctioned was won by Evie Ries. The food was made and served by Tom, Moe & Lundon Aaby and their Girl Scout Troop. There were Breakfast Burritos for breakfast, Hot Dogs & Sloppy Joes for lunch, and then Root Beer Floats to finish the wonderful day. What a treat! This year we again donated our left over items to the Lutheran, Desert Thrift Shop on 4517 E. Main St. in Mesa. They were a big help picking up all of our leftover items. Thanks again from the Yule Mart: Jean Jones, Yvonne Morrison, Evie Ries, Gloria Roti, Barbara Brown, Betty Halley, Frieda Purvis, Nita Morffett, Mary Lee Sturgeon, Mary Ashton, Deborah Linton, Theresa James, and Barbara Marshall. |
